Hungarian sales lift AAA Autoʼs performance in Jan-Apr

Sales at AAA Auto were up 13.2% in the period of January-April as compared to the same period a year earlier, boosted by the firm’s performance in Hungary, where sales were up 38.76% during the period, according to a press release issued today.

Globally the firm sold 22,354 vehicles in the first four months of the year, up from last year’s 19,747 in the same period, while in Hungary that figure grew to 1,407 from last year’s 1,014. 

April’s sales were the most significant with the Hungarian branch performing 45.39% better than in the same month a year earlier, and contributing to a global lift in sales of 19.3%.

According to AAA AUTO’s market monitoring, some 64,030 used cars were advertised in Hungary in April, with an average price of HUF 1,538,453, while the average age of used cars advertised for sale was 12.3 years with an average mileage of approximately 182,031 km.
