Hungarian owned financing firm SH-Fejlesztő inaugurated a HUF 1.7 billion four-star hotel in Siófok, western Hungary, near Lake Balaton, yesterday, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The construction of Hotel Yacht Wellness and Business was supported with a HUF 1 bln state and European Union grant.
The 6,000 sqm hotel with rooms for 205 guests will offer health tourism services in addition to traditional accommodation services, SH-Fejlesztő executive director Kornál Waller said at the event, MTI reported.
The hotel is expected to open in January, with a staff of 40, MTI said. SH-Fejlesztő is currently renting the site on which the hotel is located from a bank and will later purchase the property.
