Henkel Hungary raises HUF 6.7 mln for UNICEF

Henkel Hungary and Tesco raised HUF 6.7 mln in Hungary to help clean up the water supplies of African villages, Henkel announced today.

For every Persil washing powder purchased in any of the Hungarian Tescos, the companies contributed from HUF 40-100 – depending on the size of the package – to UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund. UNICEF will use the funding to support water supply improvements that will impact millions of African children.
