The Swiss Business Day will be held for the fourth time in Budapest on November 22, but at a new venue, the Várkert Bazár, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The event is organized by Swisscham Hungary, with support from the Swiss Embassy in Budapest, the Hungarian Embassy in Bern and Switzerland Global Enterprise. In addition, this year the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) will also be a main sponsor.

“The day will be about the Swiss brand, quality, and excellent cooperation between Switzerland and Hungary, which is an area of perpetual growth and development and could be a good example for other international and domestic participants of the economy,” Swisscham said in a statement sent to the BBJ.

Innovation and talent are the themes for this year’s event, reflecting two of the most important challenges for Hungary’s economy: recruiting and retaining labor, and talent management.

The chamber said there would be the addition of a “major novelty” this year.

“We will enhance the event by adding a job fair to provide an opportunity to exhibiting Swiss companies for advertising their current vacancies and for holding job interviews, and to the general public for becoming familiar in a single location with all of the opportunities offered by Swiss companies,” Swisscham explained.

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
