Hungarian frozen bakery products company Fornettiʼs revenue was approximately HUF 25 billion in 2015, up 12% compared to 2014, the company said today based on preliminary data.
The companyʼs primary goal is expansion, and with Czech, Slovakian and Ukrainian agreements Fornetti now has more than 4,700 shops across the region, managing director Sebastian Gooding said.
For 2016, Fornetti is aiming for a 10% growth in revenue. In the long run it is looking to expand its franchise from Bulgaria to Germany.
Fornetti employs 970 workers in Hungary and another 500 at its foreign subsidiaries.
Switzerlandʼs Aryzta bought Fornetti at the beginning of August of last year and announced that it is working on the long-term development of Fornetti that will start with a €1 million investment in the next six months.
