FIBAG sets up renewable energy research center for HUF 1 bln

Austrian-owned FIBAG Biogas has established a HUF 1 bln renewable energy research center in Vep, western Hungary, managing director Mario J. Müller said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI. 

The company won a HUF 561 mln European Union and state grant for the project. As part of the investment, FIBAG created a mobile unit for on-site testing of biogas facilities that could boost efficiency by 15-18%.
