FHB Mortgage Bank (FHB) on Friday said it had signed agreements on refinancing mortgage loans with 90 savings cooperatives that are members of integrator SZHISZ, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

FHB noted that it had earlier signed a similar agreement with savings cooperative B3, one of the biggest players on the market.

FHBʼs 91 partners in the sector have total assets of more than HUF 1.4 trillion. Their total loan portfolio comes to HUF 476 billion, including retail loans of HUF 309 bln and mortgage loans of HUF 175 bln. They have 1,493 branches and 988,000 retail clients.

FHB joined SZHISZ in September with the intention of supporting the integratorʼs aim to boost lending activity, renew financial services and develop financial culture and infrastructure in Hungaryʼs smaller communities.
