German-Hungarian mechanical parts maker Fastron Hungária is investing HUF 1.2 billion in a 4,500 sqm production hall at its base in Tolna, the company told Hungarian news agency MTI today.

The investment, which Fastron is paying for through its own resources, will add one-third to the companyʼs production area, said managing director Károly Mayer. The hall is expected to be completed in September, he added.

Headcount is set to rise by 60-80 within a year from 500 at present, he said.

Fastronʼs revenue is expected to rise over HUF 6 bln this year from HUF 5.9 bln in 2015.

About 95% of the companyʼs output is exported.
