Falco installs €15-18 mln machinery for greener production

Falco is set to update the machinery by the end of 2016 at its particle-board factory in Szombathely, western Hungary, through the installation of filtration and drying machines valued at €15-18 mln, the firm announced yesterday, according to news agency MTI.

The firm is in compliance with the most recent regulations and the plant’s emissions are already under regulatory limits, board Chairman Tibor Novák said. The chairman added that the company is installing the machines to resolve issues reported by locals, such as visible water vapor, and to minimize dust emissions.
