Hungarian noodle maker Hungaro Pasta saw its capacity increased by one-third due to a HUF 217 million investment, owner and managing director Ferenc Szabados told Hungarian news agency MTI.

The Dabas-based company’s project was supported with a HUF 108 mln European Union grant, the owner said, adding that the investment is expected to raise headcount from 22 to 30.

The managing director also foresees the company’s revenue to increase by 30% on exports, while currently exports generate 10% of total turnover.

Hungaro Pasta had revenue of HUF 281 mln in 2014, public records show, according to MTI.
