Dr. László Hangody orthopedic surgeon and professor was appointed the doctor-director of private hospital Dr. Rose in Budapest, the hospital announced today during a press conference.

Along with the new appointment, the hospital also announced it would expand its inpatient facility, as well as open a plastic surgery branch in the Buda side of Budapest.

The investment in Buda is being carried out through a HUF 700 million investment, supported with a development loan of HUF 500 mln from MKB Bank.

Another investment of HUF 1.8 billion is scheduled to be made in Buda in 2017 and will entail the opening of another Dr. Rose outpatient facility.

“Through our new investments, I believe, we can offer premium services in a much wider circle, hoping to keep the highest professional standards possible,” Hangody said at the press conference today.

Dr. Rose began operations in Budapest in 2007, and has been expanding ever since, with patients arriving from as many as 90 countries, a press statement issued today notes. Dr. Roseʼs inpatient facility was opened in 2010 while in 2013 Dr. Rose launched its corporate health center for businesses and their staff.
