In Hungary

Czech clients spent CZK 9,280 (€355) on average in e-shops last year, compared with CZK 11,695 in 2010, and the reason for the fall is in particular the decrease in the prices of electronics, the CTK news agency reported citing a study made by marketing company Effectix.com. Turnover of e-shops in the Czech Republic should grow up to CZK 50 billion (€1.9 billion) this year, shows the study made in cooperation with the Association for Electronic Commerce (APEK), CTK wrote. The study also shows that as many as 98% of Internet users have experience with on-line shopping, and a tenth shop online at least once a week. People buy in e-shops the most often computers, notebooks and hardware (47%), clothing and footwear (45%), discount vouchers (38%), mobile phones and mobile communication equipment (36%), tickets (36%), sport clothing and equipment (35%) and white goods (34%). Perfumes, electronics, toys and jewellery are typical Christmas presents. People aged 25 to 34 are the most frequent clients of e-shops, the study said.
