ContentLAB & Factory offers screenwriting scholarship

ContentLAB & Factory is offering a screenwriter's scholarship with an application deadline of February 18, the company announced in a press release. The main aim of the scholarship is to boost the Hungarian industry's competitiveness on an international level by training Hungarian screenwriters and helping them perfect their craft.

On February 18 at 9 am a project will be posted on the company's website, and applicants have 24 hours to write a script based on the posted guidelines and submit it for evaluation at www.contentlabfactory.com.

Based on the submissions, the company will choose 12 winners who will have an opportunity to take part in a four-month-long evening course, at the end of which one of the applicants will be given the opportunity to work with the company’s content developer writing team.

The mentors of the program include: John Vorhaus screenwriter (Sentinel, Viper, Married with Children); Iván Kapitány producer/writer/director (Üvegtigris, Beugró); Réka Divinyi screenwriter (Csak szex és más semmi, Szabadság, szerelem); Gábor Herendi director (Valami Amerika, Társas játék); Norbert Köbli screenwriter (A berni követ, Hacktion); Kalamár Tamás producer (Barátok közt); Sixx, comment:com; Winnie, Sorozatjunkie; László Czető Bernát writer; and Anett Kormos writer-comedian.
