Commercial lenders partner with Eximbank

MNB

Nine commercial lenders agreed with Eximbank on leasing packages available in the framework of its export-boosting credit program.

Eximbank CEO Roland Natran signed the agreement today with the heads of the banks (Budapest Bank, CIB Bank, Erste Bank, FHB Bank, K&H Bank, Merkantil Bank, MKB Bank, Raiffeisen Bank and UniCredit Bank), according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

The packages, ranging from two to five years, were announced in February and are available for amounts starting at €15,000. The credit carries a fixed rate, pegged to the OECD's benchmark, over its entire run.

Natran noted that a leasing refinancing agreement would raise the amount available under Eximbank's export-boosting credit programme by €181 mln over the €1 bln announced until now.
