BorsodChem spends HUF 2 bln to go greener
Kazincbarcika-headquartered chemicals company BorsodChem is planning to invest approximately HUF 2 billion in establishing a new chemical recycling plant at its Hungarian base, according to reports today.
The financing of the project at the company, which is a member of Chinaʼs Wanhua Group, will receive a European Union grant, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
Within the framework of the project, which is scheduled for completion by 2018, the company is planning to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and electricity consumption by installing more environment-friendly and economical technology compared to its present systems.
