Hungarian chemicals company BorsodChem could turn a profit this year, in spite of the lack of a turnaround on the market, chairman-CEO Jiansheng Ding said in Friday's issue of business daily Napi Gazdaság. Last year, revenue rose from 2011, Ding said. Production volume also rose, he added. Data on BorsodChem's 2012 business year has not yet been made available. Public records show the company had a €139 million loss on revenue of €829 million in 2011. Decisions on further large-scale investments at BorsodChem's base in Kazincbarika could soon be taken, Ding said.
