The local council paid HUF 450 million for the construction of the 1,600 square-meter plant, which Balluff-Elektronika outfitted with a HUF 200 mln state grant.

Balluff-Elektronika is only using half of the plant at present, but aims to ramp up production and start using the rest of it by yearʼs end, said Managing Director Tamás Ötvös.

Ötvös estimated the unit generated revenue of more than HUF 30 billion in 2018, up from HUF 28.2 bln in 2017.
