Apollo Tyres launches technical training program
Apollo Tyres Hungary, the Hungarian subsidiary of the Indian tire manufacturer launched technical and continuing education (so-called OKJ) programs for seventy Hungarian high school students during the summer season, the company announced in a press release today.
According to the announcement, the goal of the special tire manufacturing training is to provide knowledge to students who will then be employed by Apollo Tyres at its headquarter in Halásztelek. The candidates will have the opportunity to spend ten weeks of internship in the companyʼs factory in the Netherlands and India.
"We visited many high schools in Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Nógrád and Pest counties to find the appropriate students for the job," said Tibor Bányai human capital management executive at Apollo Tyres. Bányai noted that the students will also be educated in English.
