Agrofeed finishes HUF 3 bln plant in Russia
Hungary-based feed supplement manufacturer Agrofeed has finished and inaugurated its plant in Russia’s Yasnogorsk, which was realized through an investment of HUF 3 billion, the company announced Tuesday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
The green investment, which was financed by the firm in its entirety, was built because it had become impossible to fulfill the needs of the Russian market, which is ten times bigger than Hungary’s, Agrofeed co-owner István Szekeres said, according to the news agency.
Agrofeed’s investment, which created more than 100 jobs, includes a 1,400 square-meter, fully automated production plant, and a 5,000 sqm storage area and office space, MTI added.
