World Press Photo exhibition runs in Budapest until October 23

The 2018 edition of the World Press Photo exhibition, located in the National Museum, will be open to the public until October 23, according to the exhibitionʼs official website.

This year, the exhibition features 161 award-winning photos portraying events over the past year, and a "best of" selection of the 73,044 photos submitted by 4,548 photo journalists.

Visitors may also view the winning films of "Digital Storytelling," World Press Photoʼs documentary and multimedia competition.

As an accompanying exhibition, "The most beautiful Hungarian nature photos of 25 years" will feature an anniversary selection of the award-winning photos of the NaturArt competition.

The exhibition is open between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. On Fridays, Saturdays, and on October 23, the exhibition will remain open between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Full-price tickets cost HUF 2,100, with HUF 1,000 discount tickets and HUF 4,400 family tickets also on sale.

The exhibition is hosted by the Hungarian National Museum, located at Múzeum krt. 14-16 in District 8.
