Wizz Air, easyJet, Norwegian add Budapest flights
Several airlines, including Norwegian, WizzAir and easyJet, are adding Budapest flights to their timetables, airport operator Budapest Airport spokesman Mihály Hardy informed news agency MTI on Tuesday.
Norwegian will start flying to London’s Gatwick Airport from Budapest, spokesman said. WizzAir will operate its Moscow flight daily from March 31, and twice daily between June 14 and September 14, 2014, he said. WizzAir will also launch its first long-haul flight, to Dubai, at the weekend, he added.
Hardy also said that easyJet would launch a new flight between Budapest and Basel, Switzerland in the winter season, operating the flight five times a week from January 31.
