Veszprém Ranked 7th Best Travel Destination in Europe

Veszprém has been recognized as one of Europe's most popular tourist destinations in the European Best Destinations 2023 international competition, taking seventh place according to vehir.hu.

The city also received the jury's special award for being a family-friendly tourist destination.

According to Gyula Porga, Mayor of Veszprém, and Beáta Bérczi, head of Veszprém Tourism Non-profit Ltd, this recognition is a significant milestone.

Porga also acknowledged that Veszprém has already been placed on the map of top tourist destinations by winning the title of European Capital of Culture title.
