US-based Varian Medical Systems, a maker of devices and software for treating cancer and other medical conditions with radiotherapy, is opening a unit in Budapest, business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Wednesday.
Varian Medical Systems Hungary will serve the domestic healthcare sector as well as markets in Southeast Europe, the paper said.
The unit will start operating with a staff of seven.
