Széll Kálmán tér to be traffic headache as of Sunday

Additional construction work will begin at Széll Kálmán from Sunday morning, including upgrades to utilities and additional road construction that will affect lanes on the north side of the square, according to a press release issued by BKK (Center for Budapest Transport) yesterday.
Key changes will affect the flow of traffic heading northwest from the square towards Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor. A portion of the outer lane will be closed on Sunday for construction work.
Congestion at the square is expected to be further aggravated by the closure, and as such it is advisable that drivers take an alternate route.
