Slovenia tourist arrivals up in June

Slovenia's tourist arrivals surged 54.7% year-on-year to 375,043 in June of 2021, as the economy continued its re-opening efforts and international travel recovered further, the statistics agency said on Friday.
Domestic tourists were up 62.0% from last year to 249,084 (66.4% of arrivals) and foreign tourists advanced 42.1% to 125,959 (33.6% of arrivals).
The main countries of origin of foreign tourists were Germany, with 25,730 arrivals, followed by Austria (19,698 arrivals), Hungary (10,737 arrivals), Italy (9,491 arrivals), and the Czech Republic (9,114 arrivals).
