Slovenia tourist arrivals surge in December

Slovenia's tourist arrivals jumped 3,034.4% year-on-year to 294,914 in December of 2021, the country's statistics agency said on Tuesday.

Foreign tourist arrivals climbed 1,791% to 82,249 (27.9% of all arrivals), while domestic tourists surged 4,103% to 212,665 arrivals (72.1% of all arrivals).

The main countries of origin of foreign travelers were Croatia (11,600 arrivals), Italy (13,048 arrivals), Austria (8,226 arrivals), Serbia (5,060 arrivals), and Germany (4,488 arrivals).
