Richter, OTP add to treasury shares in December
Treasury shares held by drugmaker Gedeon Richter rose to 1,365,687 at the end of December from 506,493 a month earlier, data published on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange show.
The shares accounted for 0.73% of Richter's registered capital, up from 0.27% a month earlier.
The number of treasury shares held by OTP Bank edged up to 3,699,724 at the end of December from 3,624,158 a month earlier. The shares made up 1.32% of registered capital.
The number of treasury shares held by oil and gas company MOL and Magyar Telekom were unchanged at 2,842,147 (2.72% of registered capital) and 390,862 (0.04%), respectively.
