The number of refugees arriving in Hungary has increased dramatically in the past few days, as refugees rush to get into the country tomorrow as stricter border laws are to take effect as of tomorrow. These laws will enable Hungarian officials to send refugees back to Serbia, a country which the Hungarian Parliament had previously declared as a “safe third country” for refugees.
Yesterday, Hungary saw a record number of registered unauthorized border crossings amounting to 5,809, and bringing the total number of refugees entering Hungary this year to 191,702.
