Qatar Airways Cargo’s Budapest-Doha route relaunched

The first scheduled Qatar Airways Cargo flight landed in Budapest yesterday, departing from Doha, for the first time since the route was cancelled in 2013, Budapest Airport, the operator of the capital’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport, said yesterday, according to reports.

The company announced on January 28 that it would relaunch the route. With a load capacity to carry 62-68 tons, the company began operating an Airbus A330 aircraft, which will fly on Thursdays and Sundays. According to earlier reports, the plane will have a stopover in Prague. 

The company previously operated flights on the Doha-Budapest route twice a week from 2012-2013.
