Popularity of thermal baths on the rise

The number of visitors to Budapest's thermal baths rose to 3.3 million in 2012 from 3.1m in the previous year, László Szőke, CEO of BGyH, the company that runs the capital's baths, said in the weekend edition of daily Magyar Hírlap. Szőke said 2011 marked the end to a decline in visitor numbers that started at the end of the 1990s, largely because of higher entry prices.
