PM calls for zero tolerance against rioters

The government will not tolerate any more violent protests and authorities will use the most forceful means against rioters, Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány said at a cabinet session on Wednesday.
Gyurcsány said the street violence on Monday and Tuesday nights was caused by troublemakers who used peaceful demonstrators as a cover, while "probing the tolerance of the republic" and committing criminal acts. Gyurcsány called for the most forceful means under effective regulations against anyone who disrupts public order.
