OTP could target units of weakened Greek banks

OTP Bank could look for acquisitions in countries where weakened Greek banks have units, deputy-CEO László Bencsik said today, fielding a question after the lender published its Q2 earnings report.

OTP "plans to expand further" in those markets where Greek banks have a presence, Bencsik said, naming Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia as its target.
OTP Bank already has units in all three of these countries.
