Number of mandatory liquidations climbs 27% yr/yr in November

The number of mandatory liquidations initiated against Hungarian companies came to 2,055 in November, up 27% from a year earlier, and up almost 24% from the previous month, company information provider Opten told MTI on Monday.
The number of voluntary liquidations amounted to 1,743 in November, up from 1,023 from a year earlier, but down 442 from the previous month.
There were just 2,600 new companies established in November, down more than 900 from a year earlier, and down 1,200 from the previous month.
