Ministry to publish tobacco concessions data

Following a court ruling, the Ministry of National Development is publishing the public information regarding tobacco concessions on August 1, the ministry announced in a press release yesterday.

The new tobacco distribution system was introduced in 2013 in order protect non-smokers and the youth. The press release states that the new system met its initial objectives, as previously 58% of young people smoked and now the number is 12%.
