Liquidation procedures up 18.4% yr/yr in January-September

The number of liquidation procedures in Hungary rose 18.4% in January-September compared to the same period a year earlier, the Creditreform Creditors' Protection Association of Hungary said.

The number of liquidation procedures initiated by creditors rose more than 20% year on year in January-September, while the number of procedures (windups) started by owners was up 16%. Only a handful of companies applied for bankruptcy protection during the period.
