Leasing firm CIT orders 32 Airbus for $3.3 bln
The American leasing and finance firm CIT Group Inc has ordered 32 new Airbus aircraft from the European consortium, the company announced in New York and Paris.
The deal with the branch CIT Aerospace was valued at $3.3 billion, the US company said. The order includes 25 A320 aircraft with options as well as seven of the larger A350XWB. Five of the A350XWB will replace a previous order from CIT for five A350s. (monstersandcritics.com)
