KSH: Hungaryʼs guest nights up 2.4% in November

Guest turnover at accommodation establishments, measured in tourism nights, increased by 2.4% in November in year-on-year terms with gross revenue of accommodation establishments up by 4-9% at current prices, Hungary’s Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported this morning.

While the number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 6.6%, that of international tourism nights decreased by 1.5% in year-on-year terms, KSH noted.
The number of international tourist arrivals decreased by 0.7%, while the number of domestic tourist arrivals increased by 9.4%, KSH reported. Room occupancy in hotels rose by 0.8 of a percentage point to 48.9%, KSH added.
