July trade deficit €327.5 mln

Hungary's foreign trade deficit was €327.5 million in July, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Friday.

The preliminary figures show the gap is much wider than in June, when it was €110.6 million. In July last year, the deficit was €486.5 million.
Exports grew 16.9% in the twelve months to July to €4.443 billion, while imports rose 11.3% to €4.771 billion. In the first seven months, exports were up by 16.2%, while imports grew by 14.7% from a year ago, KSH said.
