Hungary to host 2018 EuroSkills finals

Beating out Norway in the running to host the finals of the 2018 EuroSkills contest, Hungary signed an agreement today regarding its role in the contest and will be the first of the former Eastern Bloc countries to host the largest European skills competition, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The agreement was signed during a local contest of vocational skills, the news agency added.
EuroSkills say on their website that their vision is “improving our world with the power of skills" through "showing the value of skills and raising recognition of skilled people Europe wide."
