Hungary mandatory liquidations rise 16% in July
The number of mandatory liquidations against Hungarian companies came to 1,993 in July, down 6.1% from June, but up 16.5% from the same month a year earlier, company information provider Opten said on Friday.
The number of mandatory liquidations in January-July reached 11,507, 9.7% more than in the same period a year earlier.
The number of voluntary liquidations came to 1,763 in July, down 11.2% from June, but 23.4% more than twelve months earlier. The number climbed 58.1% to 13,694 in January-July from the same period a year earlier.
There were 3,715 new companies established in July, down 13.7% from June and 12% under the number twelve months earlier.
