Hungary industrial producer prices up m/m 0.3% in July

Industrial producer prices in Hungary grew 0,3% in July from June and were down 1% in twelve months, figures published by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on Wednesday show.

The monthly increase comes after a 0.8% decrease m/m in June, and a similar 0.1% yr/yr drop.

Manufacturers' producer prices were up 0.2% m/m after a drop of 0.9% in June, while they fell 0.4 % yr/yr after falling 0.3% in June.

Domestic sales prices in July were up 1.2 % from June, after a 0.6% drop in June. Previously month-on-month increases kept on for seven months. July domestic sales prices were up 3.4% yr/yr after adding 1.5% in June.

Forint-term export sales prices were down 0.3% m/m after a minus 0.9% in June.

Export prices were down 4.0% in the twelve months to July, dropping for the third month in a row. In June they were down 2.8% yr/yr.

January-July industrial producer prices were up 3.4% yr/yr as domestic sales prices rose 6.0% and forint-term export prices rose 1.6% in the period.
