Hungary guest nights up 8.2% in February
The number of guest nights at commercial accommodations in Hungary rose 8.2% to 988,000 in February from the same month a year earlier, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Wednesday. The twelve-month increase accelerated from a downward revised 2.0% rise in January. The number of guest nights spent by foreign visitors rose 12.9% in twelve months to 489,000. The number spent by domestic guests was up 4.0% at 499,000. The number of guest nights at hotels increased 8.9% from February 2012, to 874,000.
