The number of guest nights at commercial accommodations in Hungary rose 4.9% to 993,000 in January from the same month a year earlier, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Wednesday. The increase slowed from an 8.2% rise in December. The number of guest nights spent by foreign visitors rose 8.3% to 526,000. The number spent by domestic guests increased 1.4% to 467,000. The number of guest nights at hotels climbed 6.0% to 883,000.
