Parliament has announced a target for the 2006 public sector deficit, which is now seen at Ft 1,531 billion, Ft 2.3 billion less than originally planned, business news portal Portfolio.hu reported.
The overall outflow was set at Ft 7,506.9 billion, and the inflow at Ft 5,975.9 billion. The new outflow target is Ft 197.8 higher than the original plan and the inflow goal exceeds the original objective by Ft 200 billion.
Finance Minister János Veres said he did not expect proceeds from the sale of Budapest Airport to prop up next year's budget, as these are to be accounted for in the 2005 numbers.
