Tourism

After a two-year decline due to the coronavirus pandemic, the data for Hungarian tourists in Croatia is approaching the 2019 record this year, the Croatian Tourist Association (HTZ) announced this week.

The results were announced on the occasion of the agency's 25th anniversary of its presence in Hungary, according to profitline.hu.

Ivana Herceg, the director of HTZ's representative office in Budapest, highlighted that 2019 was the most successful year so far, with Hungarian tourists exceeding three million guest nights in Croatia for the first time.

After a two-year decline due to the coronavirus epidemic, the Hungarians approached this record again this year, with 595,800 tourists spending 3.44 million nights in the Adriatic state.
