Hungarian hotels had CEE's highest RevPAR in 2021

Hungarian hotels had the highest net room-to-rent per room (RevPAR) in the Central and Eastern European region last year, the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants has told profitline.hu.

Citing a report published last year by STR Global, a tourism market research firm, the net Revpar ratio of Hungarian hotels in the Central and Eastern European region, including Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland, was the highest at EUR 43.9.

This is followed by Poland (EUR 24.7), Austria (EUR 23), the Czech Republic (EUR 21.4), and Slovakia (EUR 9.8). According to the STR Global data, among the capitals of the five countries surveyed, the net RevPAR ratio of hotels in Budapest in December was the highest, at EUR 46.1.

That was followed by Warsaw EUR 27.2, Prague at EUR 24.2, and Bratislava EUR 7.9.
