Hungarian companies offer HUF 251,000 in extra-wage benefits
Companies in Hungary offer an average of HUF 251,000 in extra-wage benefits for the whole of this year, the DEVISE Hungary and the Nemzeti Üdülési Szolgálat announced, citing the results of a joint survey.
The companies said that 11% of the companies surveyed plan to increase the amount of extra-wage benefits this year, while 2% plan to decrease the amount, and 3% plan to eliminate such benefits altogether. Extra-wage benefits include vouchers for recreations to be spent in Hungary from holidays to theatre tickets, or internet subscription, or can be paid into private pension funds, among others. The average monthly wage in the national economy was HUF 219,464 in the first ten months of last year, according to the latest official statistics.
