Heviz guest nights climb to over 1m in 2011
Visitors spent 1,051,000 guest nights in the Hungarian spa town of Heviz last year, mayor Gabor Papp said on Thursday.
Guest nights were up from just under 999,0000 in 2010 and 727,000 in 2009, Mr Papp said. The average time visitors spend at the spa has increased 10-15% over the past ten years, he added.
Heviz has become the second-most popular tourism destination in Hungary after the capital, he said.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
