Govt completes draft of tourism, catering law
The government has completed a draft of the new law on tourism and catering, National Economy Minister György Matolcsy told Parliament's Sport and Tourism Committee on Tuesday.
Talks with professional associations as well as parliamentary parties on the draft will start this month, Matolcsy said.
Although the tourism industry could use a cut in the VAT rate on its services, the current state of the budget does not allow it, he added.
The government plans the bill to Parliament yet in the autumn session, Matolcsy said.
