China clears Hungary for horse exports
Chinese animal health authorities have cleared Hungary for the export of live horses, the commissioner of Hungaryʼs Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Gyula Budai, said yesterday.
Hungary received the export license from Chinese authorities at the end of a five-year long procedure, Budai said. In 2012, $20 mln was spent in China on importing horses for racing and for breeding, he added.
